THE MISSONI FAMILY COOKBOOK
The Missoni Family Cookbook was initiated by Francesco Maccapani Missoni in reverence to his family’s passion for food and their bold way of living. Structured seasonally, the cookbook showcases beloved recipes “through the year,” threaded with personal stories and glimpses into a dynamic, cross-generational life.
Led by Lisa Lovatt-Smith, the project brought together family members with a creative team. Lea Sednaoui (Mont Albor) worked alongside a photographer and stylists, listened to and translated family histories, wrote the recipes and glossary (the full manuscript), assisted with art direction, styled the plates, and liaised with Assouline, the publisher, through to completion.
Fun, vibrant, and delicious, the book opens the door to a family that believesthat more is more, where exuberant style meets generous, seasonal cooking.
